Background

From its inception in 1978 the Group has built up an impressive record of bringing about positive change in wildlife conservation in India. Working through Tourism & Wildlife Society of India (TWSI) and other Indian and overseas conservation bodies as well as individual experts, the Group has organised campaigns and raised awareness about conservation issues through: annual Bird Fairs, conferences, publications and petitions to Governments.
