Education
Our
Annual Bird Fair is virtually an open air class room for environment
centric studies, where you can observe wildlife in its natural habitat,
learn from the experts and meet others who share your interest.
It is all free of cost and open to all. There is no formal entrance requirement. We aim to make learning an enjoyable experience.
There have been 11 Bird Fairs so far, each had a conservation
message, and been attended by thousands of children from numerous
schools: Tagore Public School, Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Vidylaya,
Children’s Academy, Vidya Ashram, Nirja Modi Public School have
all supported our programme. The farsightedness of many Heads of schools
is ensuring that teachers and pupils are fully
aware
of conservation issues and we are glad that our programme augments
their studies with real life and practical demonstration of these
issues.
We are particularly grateful to Ms. Neera Mathur, Principal of Maharaja
Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya, Ms. Hemant Kachhawa, Principal of Children’s
Academy, Ms. Priyadarshini Kachhawa, Vice Principal of Vidya Ashram
School, Mr. P.D. Singh, Director of Tagore Public School for their
consistent support.
