The Birding Fair survives on contribution and sponsorship which are received from a variety of sources:
- Sales of the Fair publication -- schools and others buy the publication.
- Sale of advertising space in the Fair publication.
- Individual and companies make contributions to support the Fair.
- Grants from the government tourism authorities.
- Grants from private travel companies.
- Donations and other forms of support from overseas conservation organizations.
